While not the best place to expect an abundance of wildlife, Murchison Falls National Park is still interesting to visit because of its beautiful nature.
While still on the southern bank of the Victoria Nile, we drove through rather thick vegetation and did not see any other animals than a snake crossing the road, and some warthogs as we entered our camp. The next morning, we left in time to catch the first boat across the Nile, and started our game drive under a light drizzle. Soon, the driver was struggling to keep the car under control, and as we were sliding from left to right, and back, on the road, we were more busy holding ourselves than to try and spot animals. Sometimes it seemed we would simply capsize, but the driver, helped by the guard, kept his cool.
