At the end of the Oslo Fjord, an outstanding piece of architecture seems to have been washed ashore. The brand-new Opera House makes for an exciting visit.
While walking the Opera Bridge, the view is partly blocked by an iron fence. Through it, you get a glimpse of the new Opera House, or Operahuset, but it is only when you step out into the open at the end of the bridge that this new architectural masterpiece reveals itself to you, lying at your feet. After crossing a street and a bridge, I was right in front of the small plaza and the entrance of the new Oslo Opera House. Some signs invited visitors to discover the building by walking over it, always being careful of slippery slopes. Indeed, I saw people coming down the steps of one of the slopes, and quickly went up to the roof.
