On our way to Mount Nimba, we covered our heads with one of the huge leaves to be found here.
While walking in the jungle, we covered our heads with one of the huge leaves to be found here. A few days later, we spent New Year's Eve near the border with Liberia and Ivory Coast. The next day, we were the first to arrive at a horrible scene, after a landrover had fallen down a gorge, overloaded with people as is always the case here. There are so many times in which you think something will happen because a car, bus or train is overloaded, and nothing happens. This was the first time I actually saw something happen. It was to be a sad 1 January...
