History is visible at almost every step you take in Jerusalem.
There is such a variety of religions, which for me as an outsider are different but at the same time also related and treating the same questions of life. It was as if walking in the evening news of television, while walking down the streets of this holy city. Pamphlets everywhere, heavily armed Israeli policemen, rabbis walking by in the same streets as Arabs, mosques and churches, bustling Arab markets, the Wailing Wall. It is truly a very multicultural city. But never with a relaxed atmosphere.
