History is visible at almost every step you take in Jerusalem.
Israel will always remain the country where my parents met each other, even though they have been divorced now almost longer than their marriage ever lasted. Nevertheless, after a short stay here in 1967, I did not come back until 1997. And a visit to Jerusalem seemed most interesting and obvious to do. It was a short visit, but anyway worthwile. And it gave me an even more confusing image of the Middle East than I had before.
