Around the Kröller Müller museum, you can walk the extensive park and discover sculptures in many sizes and forms in a pleasant, quiet setting.
In the late 1930s, mrs. Kröller Müller opened her museum with the objects of art she had collected in preceding years. The museum has expanded and been renovated over the years, and the sculpture garden, which was opened in 1961, has turned into one of the largest of its kind in Europe with an area of twenty-five hectares. The garden is indeed spacious, and it means that all pieces of art have their own area in which they can be admired. Artists are from many different parts of the world. What is striking in the Kröller Müller sculpture garden, is that most objects of art blend in in their own way within the surrouding nature.
