This mosque is a marvel of architecture, a huge building completely constructed of mud.
One of the destinations which had been on the top of my list, was Mali. So when I finally set foot on Malinese soil, I was looking forward very much to it. Although I was there mainly to work, fortunately I was also able to visit the famous mosque of Djenné. The village itself was very quiet when I was there, and walking around the mud walls of the mosque was a distinct pleasure.
