The old Børkop Watermill in east Jutland

When in Vejle, take a bike and explore the area south of Vejle Fjord - you will find hills, sand dunes, flat landscapes, an old watermill, and small villages on the way.
After cycling on for several kilometres, the road turned away from Vejle Fjord and went up, and I thought that this would be a short climb. It was much longer than I anticipated, and the steepness surprised me. I struggled on the bike to continue cycling, and it seemed I couldn't change gear. After reaching the top, the road continued through the forest, which opened itself after a while to introduce me to the landscape of East Jutland. Friendly scenes unfolded: slightly rolling land with few cows, some small groups of trees, and scattered villages. While passing through Børkop, I visited the old watermill, still functioning and making for a pleasant stop in the woods with a small lake.
