To me, Toronto will forever remain the hometown of two dear friends which lost their lives in a kayaking accident in 1998.
I had a complete shock when in July 1998, I received an email about a tragic accident that had occurred in the far North of Canada. In this accident, both Mark and Marilyn perished. As to the moment of writing these lines, I have not been able to comprehend how this young couple could be taken away so early. The only consolation I have, is that they really enjoyed their lives to the maximum. May they rest in peace.
