Singapore is home to many different cultures and religions. An impression of some of them.
In the vicinity of Chinatown you can find a Hindu temple which is a remarkable structure with typical scenes, with Hindu gods and animals, all depicted in bright colours. Almost inevitably, the area behind the shrine has been turned into a tourist area with shops and restaurants. Just a few minutes away, you can find traditional Chinese medicines (often dried parts of animals, or entire remains of animals).
