City of shopping malls and modernization. Singapore has its own charm.
In the end, whenever I ended up in Singapore I always tried to escape the city by going to neighbouring Malaysia or Indonesia, even for the shortest visits. I wanted to escape the artificialness of the city, its over-organizedness, its over-efficiency and complete lack of respect for things old and worthy. But I will keep on trying. Any suggestions more than welcome.
