San Francisco, city of bridges, Chinatown, Alcatraz, a lively atmosphere, and fog.
Perhaps one of the cities in the US which are most attractive to foreign visitors, is San Francisco. Perhaps because of its cable cars, its nice waterfront, its liberal character. Or it could be because of the mostly pleasant climate. Whatever its reason, the city certainly has a special ring to it. And rightly so. It lives up to its promises, has a lot of sights to see, and is also pleasant to just walk around in.
