While not the best place to expect an abundance of wildlife, Murchison Falls National Park is still interesting to visit because of its beautiful nature.
Soon after the initial thrill was over, we spotted the first giraffes, that proved to be abundant in Murchison Falls National Park. Amazingly, the guard spotted a leopard shortly after that, and we just saw a glimpse of it before it disappeared in the dense vegetation. We were all excited now, doing what we could to spot more animals, scanning the horizon for unusal shapes, shadows, or sounds. We saw a large herd of buffaloes, some with a white egret typically on their back, we saw hartebeest and waterbucks, oribi, a couple of hyena, and the beautiful crowned cranes.
