Few cities are dominated by such an outstanding artist as Barcelona by Gaudí.
The Casa Batlló is situated in the Passeig de Gracia not far from Plaza Catalunya. When I was there years ago, it was also possible to enter the house and take a closer look at his inside decorations, nowadays visitors have to remain outside and enjoy his peculiar forms from the street. He manages to give a candy-like look to houses, and Casa Batlló is no exception. Small towers, strangely formed windows, colourful details on the walls and roofs all add up to a typical Gaudí experience.
