A booming, international city, Dubai also has numerous mosques revealing the state religion of the country.
In Dubai, you can see classical mosques, small ones almost hidden amidst the buildings dwarfing them. At the same time, you can also come across very modern mosques which seem to blend in well with the modern architecture of much of the city. At times, you can find other houses of worship and there are churches, Hindu and Sikh temples. Obviously, mosques dominate the scene in Dubai where it comes to religious places.
