As a child I was taken each year to Greece - here you can see some pictures of that country of islands.
What I always liked in Greece, is that in most cases every trip you make is a travel in itself. If you want to go from one island to the other, you have to go by boat. And boats became my favourite transportation means. The slowness of moving, seeing islands floating in the horizon, the hassle upon arrival, when mostly small boats come to meet the bigger ones because they cannot dock in the harbour.
