Looking down in the waters gave a feeling of floating on something almost unearthly. Such clear waters, such colours! A thoroughly enjoyable trip for sure.
Throughout this site, it becomes clear that I am a lover of the outdoors, of rough nature, of mountains and lakes. Perhaps this is also in compensation what my own country lacks so much, I don't know. Anyway, so far I only had the fortune to visit some of the more rugged countryside in Canada only once, from Calgary. After having seen the Rocky Mountains many times from the air, it was great to be able to really walk around in them and admire their beauty during a September visit.
